2018, photography
The series consists of sixteen photos documenting the pages of an old family album by Franciszek Sylwestrowicz. The geometry of the cards, empty spaces, shuttered, decayed photos becomes the main topic of the work. The photographs compiled in the series show the routine and repeatability of the hypothetical stories. The work was created on the basis of photographs from the Henryk Sylwestrowicz’s Album, which are objects in the collections of the Borderland Photography Studio of the Gdańsk Photography Gallery – a branch of the National Museum in Gdańsk.
