Abandoned Art Nouveau Tenement in the centre of Slovakian town. Once there used to be a shop on the ground floor and all that is left from that time is a broken neon sogn saying ” Kozusnictwo”. the artists made object renovations which is typical of their art.
They replaced dilapidated letters from lit coffers with pictures of the interior and facade of the historic tenement. During their visit to the dusty flats they found various appliances, a lamp and sheer curatins which were still hanging neatly. Pictures which they placed in the neon lamp reveal the tenement true interior with the remains of bygone home intimacy and by these means the original function of the neon light was restored. At night, the neon lights up the dark backstreet with a warm light, just as it used to be lit up by the lights from the windows behind when life was going on.
