Self-portrait in Motion, 1972
A series of self-portraits in which the artist was interested in the possibility of capturing movement and time in a frame that is still, frozen in time. The movement of the photographed subject and the manipulation of exposure time resulted in image distortions and blurring. In some shots, the author’s duplicate silhouette smears and leaves a white streak on the print.
