A CORNER

A Corner, 1976, 3’36”

A video installation about the relationship between an image and its physical reference. In the corner of the room, the artist placed a monitor emitting a direct transmission of a film recording of the corner of the room. The illusory nature of the staged situation was additionally emphasized by the relationship between the real space and the space depicted on the screen, which has a real continuation outside the screen.
