Art is Power!, 1985
In the film version of this work untitled Cinema is Power! (1984-1985) the artist derided ideological phantasms. While reaching for the rhetorical pathos of the regime’s phraseology, he separated silent images of mechanical gestures from still images with shouted slogans.
