In this film the plot develops in the construction of a never-finished building, planned to have been  a hotel. Located in the district of Gdańsk called Brzeźno, next to the beach, this mysterious, abandoned building has for years marked the sea-side skyline with an outline of rough shapes. This technologically outmoded skeleton from prefabricated concrete and steel elements looking like the remains of modern “chic” in socialist building is a structure determining the behavior of group of girls dressed as chamber maids. They are running up and down the stairs, rushing to and from  non-existent rooms, making beds and lying  down to sleep. They continue their activities even when group of workers appear to dismantle the construction of the building. The shots of dismantling overlap with the shots showing girls still repeating their activities as if in a hypnotic trance. The rhythmical narration of the film with obsessive repeated spatial practice shows that the modernist idea of functionalism turns out to be a kind of psychological pressure in the experiencing of space.
